Especially with larger burgers, the question then arises "How should I eat this?". After a certain size, burgers are no longer finger food. And when eating with cutlery, the burger often falls apart. The burger skewer with two legs
The idea of using a skewer in the middle to keep the burger from falling apart is not new. What is new is that the skewer has two legs. So the skewer in the middle holds the individual ingredients of the burger together, while the two legs ensure that your delicious burger does not fall over.

Burger: Chicken Mediterranean
In the mood for a burger with Mediterranean flair? Then get excited about this version. Spice up the yeast dough for the buns with rosemary and thyme and use natural olive oil. Thyme and rosemary are also used in the chicken patties. Dried tomatoes are added, too. Onion marmalade made from red onions and boiled down with red and port wine is spread on the patty. You can season the jam to taste with balsamic vinegar and other fine ingredients. Use a tomato sauce and a delicious pesto as sauces for this burger. The garnish is missing: rocket, red onions and tomatoes.
Burger: Asian style
Fusion cuisine as it`s best: In this recipe, your burgers - traditionally American - are refined with typical Asian ingredients. It starts with the patty, which is made from pork and gets its special flavour from coriander, hoi sin sauce and, of course, ginger. Garlic and leek are not to be missed either. The sauce is something for spicy eaters, because wasabi is used here. If that's not hot enough for you, you can also garnish all the delicious vegetables with chilli. With such an explosion of (spicy) flavour bringers, we've kept the buns quite restrainedly American. Don't be put off by the preparation time: You can save a lot of time by preparing the yeast dough the day before.
Salmon burger
Our salmon burger is special at first glance because the buns are black. To achieve this effect, you use sepia ink from squid as a natural dye for the wheat buns. As the name suggests, this is not the only thing from the water that makes this burger a fishy treat: you use a fresh (or frozen) salmon fillet for the patties. And salmon caviar is used for the garnish. All that's left for the garnish is lettuce, cucumber, dill and creme fraiche.
Duck burger with stuffed patty

Burger: Bavarian
Bavarian burgers - the matching initial letters already promise a complete work of art. The burger is enclosed in a proper pretzel bun. For this, you add baking soda to the "standard" yeast dough and use coarse salt. For the patty you work with veal. Onions, parsley, mustard and white wine provide the right flavour. You also use mustard for the sauce to give it a Bavarian touch. A dash of Tabasco can also be added to give it a nice spiciness. The garnish is really Bavarian again: sauerkraut, bacon and potatoes. For the cheese, we sneak something from our neighbours and use Emmentaler.
Lamb burger
It doesn't always have to be beef if you want to create a delicious burger. In this recipe you use aromatic lamb, which creates a very special burger treat with its own special flavour. Speaking of special, you'll find some things in the ingredient list that you wouldn't normally expect to find in a burger, like mint and thyme. The homemade hummus and lemon cream you make are also unusual ingredients for a burger. The garnish is also anything but boring, thanks to the aubergine. Add dried tomatoes to the burger buns to give them that extra something.
Burger with stuffed truffle patty
Burgers are not for gourmets? You thought wrong! With this burger, we prove you wrong. In addition to the truffle-filled beef patties, fried mushrooms will delight your palate.
