An absolute classic after or even during Christmas dinner: The baked apple! Juicy, sweet stewed apple with an aromatic filling of marzipan, almonds and fruit. We top the whole thing with an oat crisp to give it a little more texture. Try it quickly and see for yourself!

6 apples
200 g marzipan
40 g cranberries, dried
30 g almonds, sliced
60 g flour
45 g butter
40 g rolled oats
20 g brown sugar
vanilla, cinnamon

Prepare the baked apples

Hollow out the apples using the largest blade of the twister (or the largest possible). Preheat the oven to 180°C fan oven.

Knead the marzipan with the flaked almonds and cranberries and fill the mixture evenly into the apples.

Knead the flour, butter, sugar and rolled oats until small crumbles form. Spread these evenly over the apples.

Place the apples in the Terra Nova tin and then bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.

The finished baked apples are best served warm with a little vanilla sauce, ice cream or directly with the roast goose.
