Baked oatmeal

Description
Many people are familiar with oatmeal for breakfast. Baked oatmeal is pureed with milk or a vegan alternative and sweetened or flavoured to taste. Then it's off to the oven and while breakfast is baking, you can use the time to take a shower. And then you have a really tasty breakfast that can be flavoured to your heart's content. Super easy, quick to make and a great start to the day.

50 g banana
100 ml milk or a vegan alternative
50 g rolled oats
toppings to taste (fruits, nuts, chocolate,...)

Preparation

Prepare the baked oatmeal

Preheat oven to 170°C fan oven. Place the banana, rolled oats and (vegan) milk (alternative) in a blender jug and puree. The mixture can also be seasoned/flavoured to taste.

Pour the baked oatmeal into the Little Lurch bowl or another ovenproof container and bake for 20 minutes.

Leave the baked oatmeal to cool briefly after baking and then garnish with fruit, nuts, seeds, chocolate or other toppings as desired.
