Description
Dal, sometimes also known as dhal, dahl or daal, is a typical Indian dish made from pulses - often lentils, but sometimes peas or beans are also used. And the consistency is just as varied: it ranges from a relatively liquid soup to a kind of stew in which it is still quite easy to recognise what has been cooked. But no matter how you cook it, dal is always a flavourful highlight and super tasty.
