Dabei sind die Gespräche selbstverständlich genauso leidenschaftlich, wie die Liebe zu ihrem Essen. Natürlich darf ein frisch gebackenes Focaccia nicht fehlen! Selbstgemacht, versteht sich. Preparation
Prepare the focaccia

Put the flour in a bowl, form a hollow in the middle and add the yeast together with the sugar and lukewarm water. Leave to rest for 15 minutes.

When foam has formed on the surface, add salt, turmeric and tomato paste and knead into a smooth dough. Add a little more flour if necessary. Leave the dough to rise for an hour.

After the dough has risen, knead it well once and then pull it roughly into shape so that it fills the round mould well. Then leave to rise for half an hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C convection oven.

When the dough has risen again, press a few holes in the dough with your finger. Then brush the surface with a little olive oil and top the bread with small, thin tomato slices, rosemary needles and finely chopped garlic.

Bake the bread for 20 minutes.

Tip: To see if the bread is cooked through, tap the surface of the bread briefly. If it sounds hollow, the bread is done.
