Adult sauce? You've never heard that before? No problem! In principle, it's a kind of creation of our own, in which we have combined various ingredients in a pasta sauce that is generally favoured by adults. The combination of capers, anchovies, olives and more is bursting with flavour and will make your mouth water before, during and after your meal. Of course, this doesn't mean that your little ones won't enjoy this pasta sauce too.

canned tomatoes, chopped

Preparation
Prepare the sauce

Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the mince and bacon in it. Meanwhile, peel and roughly chop the onion and garlic.

Finely chop the onion, garlic, chilli, anchovies and olives in a multi-chopper and then add to the mince along with the capers and thyme.

Add the ground cumin and roast briefly. Then add the tomato purée and fry briefly.

Deglaze with red wine and simmer until almost completely reduced. Then top up with the chopped tinned tomatoes.

Add the lemon zest and juice and season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Allow to simmer over a medium heat. Heat the pasta water.

When the pasta water is boiling, add the pasta (of your choice) and cook according to the cooking time. Just before the pasta is ready, season the sauce to taste and serve with the pasta. If you like, you can sprinkle some freshly grated Parmesan over the pasta.
