Preparation
1
Prepare the sushi rice according to the instructions.
Our tip: Cook the sushi rice in a rice cooker. To do this, first rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Then add the rice to 1.25 times the amount of water (e.g., 100 g of rice to 125 ml of water), let it soak for about 15 minutes, and then cook.
2
Cook the edamame in salted water until al dente, then rinse under cold water. Prepare the carrot, cucumber, mango, and avocado. If necessary, remove the skin and bones from the salmon, lightly season with salt and sugar, and let it rest.
3
Season the cooked sushi rice and cool it quickly.
4
Place the rice in a bowl, then arrange the individual ingredients around it, and garnish everything with sauce and any toppings of your choice.
5
Tip: Instead of salmon, you can just as easily use chicken, shrimp, or tofu—whichever suits your taste and dietary preferences.
