Description
‘What would you like to eat today? - Pasta!’ Who hasn't experienced asking your child about their next meal? If you want to fulfil this request, even if it's just to avoid discussions, and still don't want to feel completely guilty about a one-sided diet, then you should give the following recipe a try. It's delicious, simple, quick and with vegetables. Our children love it!

Ingredients for

Ingredients for the pasta

50 g pasta, cooking time 6-8 min
35 g carrot
20 g peas, fresh or frozen
30 g brokkoli
40 g cream cheese
vegetable broth, if available

Preparation

  • Total time: 15 min

Prepare the pasta

1
Bring the water to the boil. Meanwhile, cut the carrot into small pieces and separate the broccoli florets. Tip: Instead of water, you can also use a poultry or vegetable stock for cooking. This immediately gives the dish a little more flavour without the need for intensive seasoning.
2
When the water is boiling, add the pasta to the water along with the carrot, broccoli and peas.
3
If the pasta takes longer than 6-8 minutes to cook, add the vegetables to the boiling water a little later.
4
When the pasta is cooked, drain the contents of the pan and stir in the cream cheese while it is still warm.Return the pasta and vegetables to the pan and stir. Season everything to taste and then serve.
