Description
The next party is coming up, it's your birthday and you want to bring something for your colleagues or you need a snack for a hike at the weekend - but what should you make? How about our quick and easy salmon and cream cheese muffins? They can be prepared in no time with ready-made yeast dough and they taste great anyway.

Ingredients for

Ingredients for the muffins

400 g pizza-/yeast dough, ready made
200 g smoked salmon
200 g cream cheese
2 Teaspoon(s) dill, fresh
2 Teaspoon(s) orange zest
salt, pepper

Preparation

  • Total time: 45 min

Prepare the muffins

1
Note: We use a ready-made yeast/pizza dough in this recipe. The advantage of this is that it is already rolled out quite thinly and, above all, evenly, can be used straight away and is very easy to portion/cut thanks to its (industrial) shape. Of course, homemade yeast dough can also be used here.
2
Remove the yeast dough from the packaging and smooth out. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan oven.
3
Spread the cream cheese evenly over the pastry and sprinkle with dill and orange zest.
4
Cut or pluck the salmon into fine pieces and spread them evenly over the pastry.
5
Now cut the dough with the topping into 18 even pieces and then roll each piece up into a shape that fits the baking tin. Place the dough portions in the silicone moulds and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
