Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 180 -C. Separate the eggs and leave the egg whites to chill.

Step 2:

Stir the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla sugar and water, and beat the mixture with an electric mixer for about 8 minutes (highest level), until a firm lightly-coloured cream has formed.

Step 3:

Mix the salt with the egg whites and beat until firm. Add the egg whites to the egg yolk cream and gently fold in with a spoon.

Step 4:

Mix the flour, baking powder and starch together and sift over the egg whites.

Step 5:

Gently fold the flour mixture into the egg yolk cream. Place the mixture in a baking mould and bake.

  • - 20 cm = ~ 40 minutes
  • - 15 cm = ~ 25 minutes
  • - 9 cm = ~ 10 - 15 minutes

TIP:

Let your creativity run wild and decorate your cakes as you please, with marzipan, cream, fondant, chocolate etc.
