Cake Pops & Candy Drops

approx. 240-minutes incl. baking and curing time

Ingredients for 20-cake pops:

150 g
125 g
1/2 sachet
baking powder
175 g
250 g
candy drops
2 cubes
coconut fat

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1:

Beat the eggs, sugar and soft butter until creamy. Blend the flour with baking powder and vanilla sugar, then stir it into the creamy mixture. Fill the mixture into the side of the baking mould with no holes in it. Generously fill the cake pops baking mould to ensure a good end result.

Step 2:

Place the second half of the baking mould (with holes) over the top and firmly press it down.

Step 3:

Bake at 170 - top and bottom heat for approx. 25 minutes.

Step 4:

Take the cake pops out of the baking mould after about 5-10 minutes and let them cool.

Step 5:

Melt the candy drops over a water bath, then add 2 cubes of coconut fat to it and mix well.

Step 6:

As soon as the candy drops are completely melted and have a creamy consistency, pour them into the clean, dry baking mould and place the cake pops on top. Let them harden for approx. 20 minutes in the fridge.

Step 7:

As soon as the first half is hard, take the cake pops out of the baking mould and pour more candy into it. Then place the cake pops in again on the side that is not covered. Place them back in the fridge again for approx. 20 minutes.

Step 8:

As son as the second side hardens, take the cake pops out of the baking mould and push a cake pop stick into each one.

Step 9:

Carefully remove any excess candy drops from the sides.
