Ingredients for one cake

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1

Knead flour, 50g sugar, baking powder, egg, vanilla sugar, milk, salt and butter into a shortcrust pastry and chill. If it is too soft, add some more flour.

Step 2

Peel and core the apples and cut them into cubes. Caramelise 30g sugar with a little water, add half of the apple cubes and cook for 20-30 minutes at medium heat until soft. Add the remaining apple to the purée and reduce heat. Preheat the oven.

Step 3

Roll out 2/3 of the dough thinly, line the mould with it and fill with the apple puree. Roll out the remaining dough and close the cake with it. Prick several times with a fork and press the edge lightly.

Step 4

Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C top/bottom heat until golden brown.
