Spelt Bread

Ingredients (for one loaf):

500 g
wholemeal spelt flour
75 g
liquid leaven
1/2 cube
fresh yeast or 1 sachet of dry yeast
300 ml
lukewarm water
1 tsp.
salt
1 tsp.
sugar

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1:

Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl and make a well in the centre.

Step 2:

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 50 ml of water.

Step 3:

Pour the yeast solution, leaven and the remaining water into the well and knead all of the ingredients into a soft dough and then cover and let stand for 15 minutes.

Step 4:

Knead the dough again, place in the mould, cover and leave in a warm place for 60 minutes.

Step 5:

Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180 -C top and bottom heat for about 60 minutes.
