Pulled Pork Patty

700 - 1200 g
pork neck
each 1 tblsp.
salt, pepper, paprika, honey
each 1 tsp.
chili, cumin, pimento, mustard
100 ml
apple juice
100 ml

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1

Mix honey, mustard and the spices for a marinade and marinate the pork meat over night. 

Step 2

The next morning, preheat the oven to 110° C. Then, take the meat out of the marinade and put the remaining marinade together with the stock and apple juice in a casserole. Put the casserole in the lower part of the oven. Put the pork meat on a cooking grid and place it in the oven above the casserole. Let the meat cook for 3 or 4 hours. 

Step 3

After 3 to 4 hours start to pour the marinade from the casserole over the pork every 30 to 60 minutes. Repeat this procedure until the meat reached a cooking time of 7 hours. 

Step 4

After cooking the meat, cover it with aluminium foil and let it rest for at least 60 minutes. Then, start to pluck the meat and arrange it on the burgers.
