For 6 big burger buns

For 6 small burger buns

220 g
flour type 550
25 ml
warm water
10 g
fresh yeast
90 g
butter
2
eggs
1/2 teasp.
sugar
1 teasp.
salt
2 tblsp.
roasted onions
15 ml
oil

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1

Add some flour into a mixing bowl and form a hole in the middle. Crumb the yeast inside and add some warm water and sugar. Let it rest for 15 minutes. 

Step 2

Add some salt and a tablespoon roasted onions and knead it to a dough. Gradually add some butter and eggs and knead again. Let the dough rest for 60 minutes.

 

Step 3

When the dough has risen form six small dough balls (70 g / 120 g). Flatten them slightly and let them rise in the covered form another 60 minutes.

Step 4

Brush the dough balls with some oil and sprinkle them with roasted onions. Then, bake them in the preheated oven at 200° C for 12 to 15 minutes.
