Ingredients for 2 people

For the sauce

small onion
1 tbsp each
olive oil, agave syrup
1 small can
tomatoes
1 small can
tomatoes

salt, pepper, thyme, rosmary

for the pasta

250g
spaghetti

big carrot
some
chives

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil until translucent, add the thick juice or sugar and caramelise for 1-2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and bring to the boil briefly with fresh or dried herbs. Keep warm.
 

Step 2

Peel carrots and spiral with a blade for fine spirals. Cut the chives into long stems. Boil spaghetti with the carrots in plenty of salted water until almost done, then add the chives and cook for about 1 minute. Drain and serve with the sauce.

Tip

Besides carrots, other vegetables are also good for "hiding". A prerequisite is that they can be spiralled well, such as zucchini, pumpkin, celery, parsnips and kohlrabi. However, there should always be 2 parts of pasta and only 1 part of vegetables, otherwise you will notice the dizziness.
