100 g
canned tomatoes (chopped)
25 g
dried tomatoes
30 g
onions
20 g
sugar
20 g
thyme
20 g
rosemary
1 - 2 tblsp.
balsamic vinegar
1 - 2 tblsp.
olive oil
some
salt, pepper, lemon, sugar

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1

Chop the onions and dried tomatoes finely. Then, caramelize sugar in a pot and add the onions and dried tomatoes. 

Step 2

Deglaze by adding the canned tomatoes. Chop the herbs and finely and add them in the pot, too. Reduce slowly on a medium heat (ca. 30 minutes). 

Step 3

When a firmer consistency is reached, season to taste with salt, pepper, lemon, sugar, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
