You can incorporate pur-ed vegetables which contain valuable nutrients into the smoothie recipe. For this, collect the so-called pulp in a bowl.

Step 1:

Wash and drain the vegetables and the rocket. Cut open the peppers and remove the seeds and slice along with the carrots.

The vegetable pieces should be large enough to be easily fed into the juicer.

Step 2:

Now place the peppers and carrots into the juicer piece by piece and turn the crank.

Firmer pieces of carrot may make the juicer squeak. This is caused by friction. To avoid the noise, simply spread a teaspoon of oil evenly over the screw before juicing the vegetables.

Step 3:

Stir the fresh vegetable juice into the pulp, cream, yoghurt and finely-chopped rocket for an even mixture. To finish, season the smoothie to taste and serve in a glass. Best served with a small spoon.
