Baked Apple in Batter

Zutaten für Personen

medium-sized apples (approx. 120 g per apple)
4 pieces
puff pastry (frozen)
150 g
cream quark
2 tbsp.
chopped almonds
2 tbsp.
chopped dried figs
egg yolk
1-2 tbsp.
juice of a small lemon
100 g
marzipan paste
4 tsp.
quince cheese
1 sachet
custard powder with ingredients

Schritt für Schritt - Anleitung

Step 1:

Thaw your puff pastry, preheat the oven to 150 -C and make your vanilla sauce according to the package directions.

Step 2:

Hollow your apples using he twister (medium size).

Step 3:

Blend together the lemon juice with jelly, sugar and marzipan. Mix this into the fresh cheese and egg yolks and then fold in your chopped almonds and figs.

Step 4:

Push the filling into your apples using a spoon.

Step 5:

Place a piece of puff pastry around each apple like a coat and press it together gently.

Step 6:

Bake the apples in the oven for approx. 30 minutes.


Serve the baked apples hot with your vanilla sauce.
