Apple-Ginger-Spinach Juice

Fresh apple, hot ginger and the intense taste of spinach - a good combination for a delicious juice.

The apple, with its numerous vitamins and minerals, is a true miracle of health. It supplies our body with vitamin C, which has an antioxidant effect and also promotes iron absorption. The proportion of dietary fibre pectin, which promotes healthy intestinal function, is very high in apples. With a recommended amount of 30g fibre per day, 100g apple already contain 10.1g. The apple contains valuable flavonoids, which belong to the secondary plant substances. They have an antioxidant effect and reduce the risk of certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases. They also inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and viruses.

Numerous positive effects prove that ginger is not only a spice, but also a proven remedy: Its vitamin C strengthens the immune system and thus supports the body in its defence against infections. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and has a calming effect on the stomach and intestines. The fact that the small tuber stimulates the metabolism in a natural way is a further positive health effect. Other vitamins include B3, B5, B6 and E as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and calcium.

The recipe

For this juice you need about 20 g apple and about 15 g spinach. Cut the apple into cubes and add 2 slices of ginger when juicing the ingredients with the Base&Soul Slowjuicer. If necessary, you can adjust the amount of ginger to your own taste.
