LURCH AG expands its headquarters in Hildesheim

Hildesheim, September 13th, 2021 - Work on the construction of a new hall officially began at 3:00 p.m. with a groundbreaking ceremony by Mayor Dr. Ingo Meyer as well as Johannes Schneider and Matthias Schneider, board members of Lurch AG.

In the coming months, a new building with a usable area of 2500 m² will be built on the property directly adjacent to the existing company building. In addition to being used as a warehouse, an engineering lab, a photo studio, a showroom and a show kitchen will also be integrated into the hall. The building is expected to be completed in spring 2022.

Room for innovation

LURCH invests in the future! In addition to plenty of space for logistics, the new building also creates space for creativity and innovation. Product designers and engineers have a modern workshop set up here. In the future, they will be able to develop, implement and test innovative product ideas even more efficiently. Another highlight is an in-house photo studio for professional product shots and video shoots. Attached to this, the showroom moves from the office complex into the new hall. Here all products are exhibited, digitized and interactively prepared for the web in the form of a virtual 360° tour. The show kitchen, used to develop recipes and present LURCH products, will also be moved to the new building.

Due to increasing demand and growing product ranges, you need one thing above all - space. The creation of additional storage space and the expansion of the logistics team are therefore important. The aim is to make order picking even more efficient in order to continue to successfully meet growing demand.
