In any case, speculoos must not be missing from the biscuit plate! With Christmas spices, good butter and almonds, they become especially delicious! For the dough

115 g butter
240 g wheat flour
110 g sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
1 Knife tip(s) ginger powder
1 Knife tip(s) nutmeg powder
1 Knife tip(s) clove powder
1 Knife tip(s) salt
1 Knife tip(s) baking powder
0.5 Teaspoon(s) almond extract
1.5 Teaspoon(s) milk
3 Tablespoon(s) almond flakes

Preparation

Bake the speculoos

Preheat oven to 175°C fan oven. Knead together the butter and sugar.

Mix in the remaining ingredients, knead into a smooth dough and chill in the fridge for 3 hours, wrapped in cling film.

Portion the dough, press it into the speculoos mould and carefully remove the overhanging dough. Then prick carefully with a fork so that there are no air holes and press the almond leaves lightly onto the backs of the dough.

Place the baking tin on a baking tray and bake for 13 minutes.
