70 g sugar
60 g butter
2 eggs
1 Pinch(es) salt
175 g flour
1 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
0.5 Packet(s) vanilla sugar
70 ml milk
3 apples
4 Tablespoon(s) honey water (1 part honey : 3 parts water)

For the muffins

Preheat oven to 160°C convection oven and melt butter in a pot.

Remove saucepan from heat and whisk sugar and vanilla sugar into warm butter first, then add milk and egg.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt and stir into butter mixture. Then divide the batter evenly among the molds (about 1/3 full).

Wash and core apples and cut into very thin even slices with a slicer.

Cut the apple slices in half and press them into the dough in a circle from the outside in, creating a rose look.

Brush the rose muffins with a little honey water and then bake for 10-15 minutes.
