Apple white wine cake

Description
A tipsy apple pie - why not? Even an apple has the right to a glass of wine once in a while! All joking aside ... this combination is the perfect basis for a cake. Now add vanilla pudding and cream and this pastry becomes a great creamy cake. Simply irresistible!

For the dough

250 g wheat flour
2 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
125 g margarine
1 egg

For the filling

500 ml white wine
200 g sugar
2 Pack(s) vanilla sugar
6 apples
2 Pack(s) vanilla custard powder

For the topping

200 ml cream
5 Tablespoon(s) brittle

Preparation

Prepare the dough

Preheat the oven to 175°C top/bottom heat. Make a kneaded dough with flour, baking powder, margarine and one egg and chill briefly.

Prepare the filling

Set aside 1/5 of wine for the custard powder. Core the apples, cut them into wedges and bring to the boil together with the sugar, vanilla sugar and the remaining white wine.

Mix the vanilla custard powder with the leftover wine until smooth and add to the boiling apple compote while stirring. Bring to the boil once and then transfer to a bowl to cool.

Roll out the pastry thinly and line the springform tin evenly with it.

Pour the slightly cooled apple-wine mixture into the tin and bake for 50 minutes.

The last step

Let the cake cool completly. Whip the cream until stiff, spread over the cake and sprinkle evenly with brittle.
