Description
The intensely sweet flavour of bananas combined with deliciously creamy peanut butter... This recipe will take you straight to cake heaven. The pinch of cocoa adds a slightly chocolaty touch. Mmmmmh, it doesn't get any more delicious than this!

4 eggs
280 g sugar
4 bananas
40 ml oil
240 g wheat flour
10 g baking powder
30 g cocoa powder
30 ml milk
100 g peanut butter

Prepare the cake

Preheat the oven to 170° C top/bottom heat. Peel and mash the defrosted bananas. Temper the milk slightly and dissolve the cocoa powder in it.

Beat eggs and sugar until very foamy. Slowly add the mashed bananas and oil.

Mix flour with baking powder, gradually sift into the mixture and gently fold in. Pour a large part of the mixture into the mold. Stir the cocoa milk into the remaining mixture and pour it into the mold as well.

Warm the peanut butter and pour it on top of the cake batter. Gently drag through the mixture with a fork to create a cocoa pattern.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.

Tip: Freeze bananas for about 2 days before baking. This will soften them and develop an intensely sweet flavor.
