Description
Anyone who has baked their own burger buns knows that they taste much better than the ones they buy. They are certainly much healthier than industrial products and are very easy to prepare. You only need a few ingredients, which at best you already have on hand. The result is a fluffy burger bun that is just waiting to be topped. Let's have a burger party!

Prepare the buns

1
Whisk the eggs. Take a very small portion of the egg mixture to brush the buns with later. Put most of the egg mixture into a mixing bowl with the sugar, milk and dry yeast and mix together.
2
Add flour a little at a time. Also add butter and salt and knead everything for about 30 minutes.
3
Chill the dough until it is well chilled (at least 2 hours, better overnight).
4
Knead the dough briefly by hand and then cut out small balls. Place them slightly flattened in the molds and cover with foil. Then let rise for 1 - 2 hours until the dough has risen well. Large buns require about 95 g of dough, medium buns 50 g and small buns 25 g.
5
Preheat oven to 175°C convection air. Mix the remaining egg with a sip of milk and brush it on the raw dough buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
6
Bake in oven for about 10 minutes (size S)/ 12 minutes (size M)/ 15 minutes (size L).
