Description
Cake pops are simply great because they are so versatile. We'll give you a basic recipe and then you can create them however you like. Start by icing, decorating and modelling. Pearls, chocolate, fondant, sprinkles ... there are so many ways to turn the little inconspicuous cakes on a stick into true baking works of art. The main thing is that being creative is fun! And they taste good anyway, because as we all know, the eye eats too.

60 g butter
50 g sugar
1 Pack(s) vanilla sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 egg
5 Tablespoon(s) milk
140 g flour
2 Tablespoon(s) coconut, grated (optional)

Prepare the cake pops

Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar with the hand mixer until fluffy. Add the egg and milk and continue to beat.

Mix the flour (and shredded coconut) with the baking powder and add to the already mixed ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 170°C fan oven.

Fill the cavities of the bottom tin (without the hole) with the batter. To give the cake pops their full shape, fill the troughs in heaps. Place the second half of the mould (with hole) on top and press the sides together so that the mould is completely closed.

Bake for 25 minutes. Leave to cool for about 5 minutes before removing the cake pops from the tin.
