Description
Snacking on chips, peanut flips and popcorn was yesterday! Now come healthy carrot sticks with a delicious cashew breading that will add some crunch to your TV evening. It only takes a few steps to get there: cook the carrots, process the cashews into breadcrumbs and bake them as a single unit to make crunchy sticks. All that's missing is a fresh dip, and the treat is perfect!

Preparation
Prepare the sticks

Bring salted water to the boil. Peel the carrots, cut in half and cut into sticks with the dice and pencil cutter.

Cook the carrot sticks until al dente and then rinse in cold water.

Drain the carrot sticks on a cloth. Finely chop the cashews with the Multi Chopper and mix with the breadcrumbs.

Dredge the carrot sticks in flour, run through beaten egg and roll in the cashew breadcrumbs.

Fry the breaded sticks in a pan or deep fryer until golden brown. Serve with a dip of your choice or as a side dish.
