Fruit base with banana and chocolate

Description
A fruit base like this is incredibly practical. The dough is baked quickly and can be topped as desired. We'll show you a chocolate and banana version that goes wonderfully well together. This delicious combination is topped with a delicious custard filling with vanilla. A perfect mix of creamy and great flavours!

For the fruit base

4 eggs
120 g sugar
70 ml oil
140 g wheat flour
2 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
2 Tablespoon(s) cocoa

For the topping

0.5 Pack(s) custard powder
250 ml milk
1 Tablespoon(s) sugar
4 bananas
4 Tablespoon(s) chocolate sauce

Bake the fruit base

Preheat the oven to 175°C convection oven. Beat the eggs and sugar until foamy. Then slowly add oil to the mixture, stirring in as you go.

Mix flour, baking powder and cocoa and sift into the mixture. Fold everything in carefully with a pastry spatula.

Pour the mixture into the fruit base tin and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Leave to rest for a few minutes in the slightly open oven and then leave to cool in the tin for 15 minutes. Then turn out and carefully remove the finished fruit base from the tin.

Add the topping

Cook a pudding from the vanilla pudding powder, milk and sugar according to the instructions and then leave to cool.

Spread the cooled pudding over the fruit base. Peel and slice the bananas.

Spread the bananas on the fruit base and cover with cake glaze and garnish with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate sauce or as desired.
