What could be more fitting than to say "congratulations" with a heart-shaped cake in your hand? And if it is baked with love, then this nice gesture says more than many words. These little marble cakes not only look great, they are also wonderfully moist and chocolaty. They are perfect for the coffee table, for giving as a gift and are a lovely surprise in your family's lunch box.

125 g wheat flour
1 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 egg
75 g sugar
65 g butter, soft
125 ml kefir
70 g chocolate, dark
30 g almond slivers
1 Tablespoon(s) baking cocoa
2 Tablespoon(s) milk

Bake the marble hearts

Beat the butter and sugar. Add the egg first, then the kefir. Preheat the oven to 175°C convection oven.

Mix flour, baking powder, almonds and couverture and add to the mixture.

Pour half of the batter into the moulds. Stir the cocoa and milk until smooth and use it to darken the rest of the batter.

Pour the dark batter into the moulds as well and use a wooden skewer to make the marble pattern.

Now bake for 25 minutes. Leave to cool briefly in the tin and then turn out.
