Description
Kohlrabi and minced meat are always a great combination. Together they make hearty stir-fries, casseroles and are a favourite in soups. Our version comes straight from the oven. The kohlrabi is hollowed out and filled with a mixture of herb cream cheese and minced meat. This variation is not only something for your palate, but is also visually a real eye-catcher!

4 kohlrabi
300 g minced meat
200 g cream cheese with herbs
4 spring onions
2 Tablespoon(s) sunflower oil
300 ml vegetable stock
1 garlic clove
salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

Prepare the kohlrabi

Peel the kohlrabi and scoop out with the large blade of the Twister. Preheat the oven to 200°C convection oven.

Bring the vegetable stock to the boil in a saucepan and simmer the kohlrabi in it for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, chop the spring onions and fry them together with the minced meat and the pressed garlic and season with salt and pepper.

Place the kohlrabi in an ovenproof dish, mix the cream cheese with the minced meat and stuff the mixture into the hollowed out vegetables.

Cook the whole thing in the oven for 10 minutes.

Tip: The spirals created when hollowing out the kohlrabi can be served raw or also cooked and served with the stuffed kohlrabi with potatoes or rice.
