Mini-Gugelhupf basic recipe

Description
Gugelhupf come in all sorts of sizes, shapes and varieties. With this recipe you can make several small cakes that go perfectly with coffee or tea. If your guests already knew that these little cakes existed, you wouldn't have to invite them. They would surely come on their own.

140 g butter, soft
85 g sugar
1 Pinch(es) salt
3 eggs
175 g wheat flour
2 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
2 Tablespoon(s) milk

Prepare the gugelhupfs

Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Beat the butter with the sugar and a pinch of salt.

Beat the eggs one by one into the butter.

Mix the flour and baking powder, sieve and stir into the batter alternately with the milk.

Divide the batter evenly between the moulds and bake for 15 minutes. Then leave to cool briefly, turn out and decorate as desired when cool.
