Description
When you hear durum wheat semolina, water and salt, can you imagine it making a delicious vegan pasta? You should try the basic recipe and add a pinch of your own creativity. For example, you can make wonderful sauces with it. Or combine the pasta with vegetables such as broccoli, peppers, tomatoes or courgettes. They are also delicious with a pesto. 400 g durum wheat semolina
90 g water
1 Teaspoon(s) salt
0.5 Teaspoon(s) turmeric for the color (optional)

Prepare the pasta dough

Place the durum wheat semolina in a bowl with the salt (and turmeric if desired).

Add most (about 90%) of the water and knead everything into a dough. 
Caution: Durum wheat semolina is a natural product that can sometimes absorb a little more and sometimes a little less water. Therefore, only a large part of the water should be used at first and then, as needed, the rest of the water - or even a little more than indicated in the recipe - can be added.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. It can then be processed as desired and dried if necessary.
