500 ml water
500 g sugar

Preparing the syrup

Remove the flesh of the pineapple from the peel using the pineapple slicer.

Put sugar and water in a pot and heat. Cut pineapple into small pieces and add.

Bring the sugar syrup to a boil with the pineapple, puree and let steep for about an hour - then strain through a fine sieve.

Bring the syrup to the boil again and then quickly pour into clean bottles or jars and seal.

Preparation recommendation

Combine 50 ml of syrup with about 250 ml of syrup in a glass.
