Description
Our potato and apple quiche is a fruity, savoury treat. The apples and cranberries provide the fruity note. Hearty...come on...we have a quiche here. So you'll find eggs, milk and cream in the ingredients list. We don't use bacon in our vegetarian version. Instead, you use flavourful Camembert cheese. Quiche also tastes great cold and is therefore a great snack for an outing.

Zutaten für

For the quiche

1 Pack(s) puff pastry
200 ml cream
200 g cheese, grated
4 eggs
150 ml milk
salt, pepper, nutmeg
10 potatoes, small
200 g camembert
1 apple
3 Tablespoon(s) cranberries, dried

Preparation

  • Preparation time: 1 h 20 min
  • Cooking time: 40 min
  • Total time: 2 h

Prepare the quiche

1
Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Line the quiche tin with puff pastry. Place baking parchment on top and weigh down the pastry with baking peas/salt/... and pre-bake for 20 minutes. Then leave to cool slightly.
2
Whisk together the eggs, cream, milk and grated cheese and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Then spread evenly over the pre-baked puff pastry.
3
Using the Super Spiral Slicer and the Tornado Blade, cut the small potatoes into spirals and then unfold them and spread them evenly over the quiche. You can peel the potatoes beforehand, but you don't have to.
4
Quarter the apple and cut away the core. Cut the apple pieces into slices about 3mm wide and then spread them evenly in the gaps in the potato tornadoes.
5
Cut the Camembert into pieces of a similar size to the apple slices and spread them over the quiche as well.
6
Finally, add the dried cranberries to the quiche and then bake, also at 180°C top/bottom heat, for 40 minutes.
