Description
A casserole doesn't always have to be savoury! It's also a delicious sweet option! Here, ingredients come together that make a great combination. Delicious semolina, cherries for the fruit flavour, cottage cheese for the freshness and vanilla sugar and lemon for a great aroma. A great main course and dessert for the whole family!

3 Tablespoon(s) cherries, from the jar
1 egg
40 g sugar
1 Pack(s) vanilla sugar
160 g low-fat quark
1 Pinch(es) salt
20 g soft wheat semolina
0.5 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
0.5 Teaspoon(s) lemon zest

Preparation

Prepare the casserolle

Preheat the oven to 160 °C convection oven. Beat the egg, sugar and vanilla sugar with a little lemon zest until frothy. Drain the cherries.

Stir the quark and salt into the mixture. Mix the semolina and baking powder.

Fold the semolina and baking powder into the mixture, fill it into the moulds and garnish with the cherries.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the mixture is set and the top is golden brown.
