Description
"I see red" and this in an absolutely joyful sense! This delicious red syrup made from rhubarb not only provides a great colour, but also a wonderfully fruity taste. The colour is "hot", the drink is "cool" ... the best proof that opposites attract!

1
Cut the rhubarb a little smaller if necessary. Tip: Sections such as rhubarb peel, woody pieces, small leftovers from cooking/baking, etc. can be used for this recipe.

Bring all the ingredients to the boil and simmer for five minutes. Then leave the syrup to infuse for around 24 hours.
3
Pour the syrup through a sieve and then bring to the boil briefly. Then pour into clean bottles and store.

Our dosage recommendation is 20 ml syrup to at least 200 ml water.
