Description
Today we're going rustic in the kitchen! We have a hearty string bean stew. For this, beans are chopped up and made into a real favourite dish together with potatoes and bacon. A couple of spicy mead ends provide the hearty meaty accompaniment.
This stew is sure to warm you from the inside and fill you up!

cornflour (dissolved in cold water)

Preparation
Prepare the stew

Clean the beans and cut into small pieces. Peel the potato and cut into cubes.

Put the bacon (diced) in a cold saucepan and then heat. Cut the onion into thin strips and add to the pot. Sauté both until translucent.
Cook the potatoes in a separate pot until they are done.

Add the savoury to the bacon and onions, sweat briefly and then fill up with stock. Add the beans and cook for 20 minutes.

Lightly thicken the stew with the starch dissolved in cold water and season with salt and pepper. Slice the meat loins and fold into the bean stew with the potatoes.
