Vanilla crescents with pistachio

Description
We love baking biscuits in the run-up to Christmas! When the smell of biscuits wafts through the house, the anticipation of the festivities begins. Vanilla crescents are an absolute MUST on the colourful plate every year. In our recipe, the fine biscuits are given a hint of real vanilla and a pinch of pistachio. This makes the little crescent-shaped biscuits especially delicious! Try it out!

For the dough

280 g wheat flour
80 g sugar
200 g butter, cold
110 g pistachios, ground
1 vanilla pod
2 Tablespoon(s) vanilla sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) icing sugar

Bake the crescents

Grind the pistachios to nut flour with the Multi Chopper (alternatively, you can also use a blender).

Knead all the ingredients with the nut flour into a smooth dough, wrap it in cling film and place in the fridge for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C convection oven. Take small amounts of the dough and press them into the moulds. Carefully place the filled moulds on the rack and bake for 10 minutes. The vanilla crescents are ready when the ends are lightly browned and the crescents are still soft in the middle. After cooling, roll in a mixture of icing sugar and vanilla sugar.
