Description
If you want to give up animal products, it is often difficult to find vegan alternatives. It's very practical to have a few basic recipes in your drawer. And a delicious mayo should be included. Our recipe works without any egg at all. Vegan yoghurt, mustard, maple syrup, oil and a little seasoning quickly make a great sauce that you can use in a variety of ways.

4 Tablespoon(s) vegan yoghurt
2 Teaspoon(s) mustard
0.5 Teaspoon(s) maple syrup
1 Splash(es) Tabasco
1 Splash(es) lemon juice
300 ml rapeseed oil
salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Total time: 15 min

Prepare the vegan mayonnaise

Put all the ingredients except the oil into the multi chopper or a mixing bowl and mix well.

Keep adding the oil in small amounts to the yoghurt mixture while stirring. Make sure that the oil is combined with the yoghurt and that no greasy spots appear.

Continue in this way until a vegan mayonnaise has formed. The consistency can be adjusted via the amount of oil or a little more or less yoghurt (or oat milk or similar).

Tip: This basic recipe can be perfectly modified and expanded with spices and much more.
