Description
Today your favourite vegetables get a coat! A crispy Parmesan cheese wraps around the vegetable sticks and gives them an intense flavour. Freshly grated, the hard cheese unfolds its full aroma and tastes deliciously spicy. When it comes to vegetables, you can try out anything that can be turned into sticks. The crispy sticks are a great buffet idea, a perfect starter and an ideal snack for in between meals.

For the vegetable sticks

500 g vegetables of your choice (carrots, celery, pumpkin,...)
3 Tablespoon(s) wheat flour
1 Tablespoon(s) starch
1 Teaspoon(s) salt
70 g parmesan, grated

Prepare the vegetable sticks

Peel the vegetables, bring to a uniform length if necessary and cut into thin sticks with the dicer and pen cutter. Place the vegetable sticks in a bowl. Preheat the oven to 180°C convection oven.

Finely grate the Parmesan and mix with the flour, starch and salt. Add this to the vegetable sticks in the larger bowl and mix everything together.

Spread the vegetable sticks on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the Parmesan is golden brown and has formed a "coating" around the vegetable sticks.
