Apple cream salad with radicchio and bacon

Description
This salad is guaranteed not to be boring! And it certainly doesn't look it. An unassuming apple is transformed into spirals in no time at all, and caramelised to boot. Wow! The whole thing is served on crunchy radicchio leaves. You can't top that? Sure you can! With the bacon you add on top!

4 radicchio leaves
8 Slice(s) bacon
3 Teaspoon(s) sugar
4 Tablespoon(s) cream
salt, pepper to taste

Prepare the salad

Carefully peel the leaves from the radicchio and set them aside. Fry the bacon in the pan, meanwhile cut the apples into spaghetti with the spiral slicer.

Drain finished bacon on paper towels. Fry the apple spaghetti in the pan and sprinkle with the sugar. Allow to caramelize briefly.

Deglaze with cream, boil down for a few moments and season with salt and pepper. Then arrange in the radicchio leaves and garnish with bacon.
