Asian salad with chili-prawns

The many aromatic ingredients give this salad a delicious Asian touch and make it really tasty. The result is a delicious side dish for fish, grilled food or something unusual for your party buffet!

Ingredients for

For the dressing

1 Teaspoon(s) sesame seeds
1 Bunch(es) coriander greens
1 garlic clove
1 chilli pepper
3 Tablespoon(s) soy sauce
2 Tablespoon(s) sesame oil
2 organic limes
1 Teaspoon(s) fish sauce

For the salad

250 g glass noodles
1 cucumber
2 carrots, thick
1 papaya
12 prawns
1 garlic cloves
1 chilli pepper
2 Teaspoon(s) sesame oil

Preparation

Prepare the dressing

Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without fat.

Finely chop the coriander, garlic and chilli. Mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, oil and the juice and zest of 2 limes to make the dressing.

Add the sesame seeds and the garlic-chilli mixture and leave to stand for at least 10 minutes.

Prepare the salad

Prepare the glass noodles according to the instructions. Then drain well.

Peel the cucumber, carrots and papaya if necessary and cut into spaghetti with a spiral slicer. Marinate everything, including the glass noodles, with the dressing and leave to marinate again for at least 10 minutes.

Finely chop the garlic and chilli. Fry the prawns in hot sesame oil and add the chilli and garlic just before finishing.

Arrange the salad on a plate or in a bowl and garnish with the prawns.
