Description
The Advent season is simply beautiful! When it gets colder outside, you can make yourself comfortable inside and enjoy the pre-Christmas season. Of course, this also includes baking! Cinnamon stars are particularly popular and are easy to make with our recipe. They are the absolute highlight for your colourful plate and also beautifully packaged as a nice little gesture for friends and family.

Preparation
Prepare the cinnamon stars

Preheat the oven to 140°C top/bottom heat.

Beat the egg whites until very stiff.

Sieve the icing sugar and gradually fold into the beaten egg whites.

Carefully fold in the vanilla sugar, flavouring, cinnamon and half of the almonds.

Knead the rest of the almonds and flour into the dough until it is no longer sticky.

Press the dough into the moulds. Take care of the corners as well.

Bake the cinnamon stars for 25 minutes, then leave to cool and turn out of the tin.
Decorate the cinnamon stars
Mix the icing sugar with water to make a icing and decorate the stars with it.
