Description
Waffles don't always have to be sweet. The herb Parmesan waffles are the savoury proof. They are the perfect snack for on the go. With a baking time of just 15 minutes, they are quick to prepare and easy to stow in your lunch box. On the road, they are a great reward for hard-working students, hungry hikers or energetic workers. And of course also for loving bakers!

fresh herbs, chopped

sunflower seeds
Preparation
Bake the waffles

Separate the eggs. Beat the butter and egg yolks until foamy. Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat.

Mix the milk with the fresh herbs and slowly add to the butter and egg mixture.

Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, Parmesan cheese and salt.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.

Put a few sunflower seeds in the mould. Divide the batter evenly between the moulds and bake for 15 minutes.
