For the hummus

200 g chickpeas (cooked)
80 ml water
80 ml olive oil
30 g tahin paste
2 Teaspoon(s) cumin, ground
0.5 garlic clove
0.5 lemon (zest and juice)
salt, pepper, cayenne

  • Total time: 15 min

Prepare the hummus

Dried chickpeas: for 200 g cooked chickpeas soak about 100g of dreid chickpeas overnight in enough water. Drain the water the next day and boil the chickpeas in salted water (start cold) until soft. Then rinse and leave to cool. Canned chickpeas: Drain the chickpeas and rinse thoroughly.
Put all the ingredients into the Multi Chopper and blend until smooth. Add the spices gradually and taste in between.
Note : The amount of oil and water determines the consistency of the hummus. You can vary the consistency according to your own taste.
