Description
Tiramisu ... the name alone sounds so melodic. By the way, in German it means "pull me up". Oh yes, this heavenly dessert pulls everyone up and puts them in a really good mood right away. We have modified the typical Italian recipe a little. The fruity-sweet strawberry and the fresh lime form the perfect combination. Enjoy the heavenly creamy tiramisu, which is sure to turn out great with our recipe!

Zutaten für

For the Tiramisu

25 lady fingers
50 ml orange juice
3 limes
6 egg yolks
4 Tablespoon(s) sugar
1000 g mascarpone
750 g strawberries

For the toppings

1 Tablespoon(s) brown sugar
100 g strawberries
3 Tablespoon(s) almond leaves
1 Tablespoon(s) sugar
3 Tablespoon(s) water
2 Stem(s) mint

Preparation

  • Total time: 1 h

Prepare the Tiramisu

1
Grate and squeeze the limes. Mix the juice with the orange juice.
2
Whip the egg yolks with the sugar and a little more than half of the lime zest until creamy.
3
Add the mascarpone and beat briefly until smooth and chill.
4
Line the mould with the ladyfingers and drizzle with the orange-lime juice. Then spread a thin layer of mascarpone cream.
5
Cut the strawberries into pieces and spread them over the mascarpone layer. Then spread the remaining cream over the strawberries and chill the tiramisu.

Prepare the toppings

1
Chop the strawberries, mix with brown sugar and leave to rest in a bowl. Mix the orange and lime juice.
2
Put the almond leaves in a pan with the sugar and water. Heat and stir until the water has evaporated (you will see white streaks on the bottom of the pan). Remove the pan from the heat and continue stirring until the almonds are coated with sugar and separate. Then leave to cool.
3
Sprinkle the tiramisu with the remaining lime zest and scatter the candied almond leaves. Puree the sugared strawberries into a sauce and decorate the tiramisu with it. Finally, garnish with plucked mint.
