Origin of the burger
Burgers aren't just on everyone's lips these days. Whether prepared in the pan or on the grill is a matter of taste and/or depending on the season.
It is not known exactly where the burger originated. What is certain, however, is that it has been around for around 100-130 years and it most likely owes its name to a city, whether the German Hanseatic city or an American counterpart. The theories are varied, as are the people who supposedly created the world's first burger.
What goes into a burger?
Here, too, there is actually no exact answer. A hamburger traditionally consists of a soft brioche bun, also known as a bun, topped with a burger patty made from ground beef and served with tomatoes, onions, pickled cucumbers and possibly a sauce, such as ketchup. But classic in this case means about 100 years ago. These days, a burger offers much more than a handful of components. And LURCH offers you the necessary equipment.
Cheeseburger was yesterday, hamburger the day before yesterday. Of course you can also make one of these burgers “back-to-the-roots”, but until then: try it out! It's time for your very own burger! Freshness is the motto, homemade is the goal! Anything you like is allowed!
