The banana bread

Why don't you bake a moist banana bread? Banana bread is your sweet addition to breakfast, for work or as a snack - this bread always works!

Whilst the oven is preheating, cream the butter and sugar, gradually stir in the eggs and mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla sugar. Then add the baking powder, flour and chocolate sprinkles. And then you can watch as your banana bread becomes more and more golden in the oven and a wonderful aroma fills your kitchen - Mhhhh.

The small yeast plait

Don't fancy banana bread? How about a homemade small yeast plait for Easter! Prepare your dough as usual with milk, yeast, flour, sugar, salt, butter and egg. However, unlike usual, you don't have to divide the dough into three equal-sized strands and braid them, but distribute the dough evenly in the FLEXI®FORM yeast plait. Optionally, you can sprinkle the mould with almonds or mix marzipan into the dough beforehand to give it that special touch.

The yeast plait with almonds

Of course, you can opt for the sweeter version with our yeast plait with almonds recipe. Here, almonds, sugar and water are brought to the boil, stirring constantly, until caramel forms. Then remove the pan from the oven and continue stirring until all the almonds have separated and are coated in sugar. Once cooled, chop into small pieces and use later as an almond butter filling for the yeast dough.

The party plait

You can also use the FLEXI®FORM yeast plait for a party plait. Here, the yeast dough is divided into nine small pieces and sprinkled with various seeds and grains, e.g. sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or poppy seeds. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone, making the party plait ideal for the next barbecue or birthday party!
